Our team
Sabiotec was created in June 2014 at the initiative of researchers from the SaBio group together with UCLM undertakes.

CEO
Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Castilla La Mancha has completed her studies with a Veterinary Technical Assistant course to guide her career towards animal health. She has more than five years of experience in the field of wildlife and ten years of research experience in shared diseases. She is CEO and director of SABIOTEC.

Partner
Veterinary Doctor from the UCLM and MBA from the IE Business School. She has 10 years of experience in the field of wildlife and seven years of research experience in shared diseases.

Veterinarian, project technician
Graduated in Veterinary by the University of Córdoba (Promotion 2011-2016). Official Master of Medicine, Health and Animal Improvement of the University of Córdoba (2017/2018 Course). After completing the Final Degree Project entitled "Evaluation of the management of by-products derived from hunting activity as a measure of bovine tuberculosis in wild ungulates", he began to specialize in diseases shared between domestic livestock and wildlife.

Veterinarian
Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Porto (2016-2022) with the dissertation "Hair glucocorticoid concentration: analysis of hair corticosterone in wild rabbits, and hair cortisol in domestic livestock subject to predation by wolves". This project and previous experiences with wild mammals further developed her interest for wildlife studies..

Laborarory technician
Specialized superior technician with 2 years of experience in the Biotechnology line for the development and production of vaccines for the control of infectious diseases. It has extensive experience in expression and purification of recombinant antigens in systems of expression as Escherichia coli, as well as in the development of different techniques of immunoassay.

Veterinarian
Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of León (2017-2022 promotion). He has some experience in microbiology and in the pig sector after collaborating with the Microbiology and Immunology Area of the León Veterinary College, as well as completing his Final Project of the Degree on co-infections between microorganisms of the porcine respiratory complex disease and participate in other projects of a different nature. His professional career is aimed at specializing in infectious diseases and epidemiology, as well as public health through population medicine.
Sabiotec has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund through the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce, through:
- The InnoCámaras program that promotes research, technological development and innovation.
- The TicCámaras program to develop our website for greater visibility.
- The Xpande Digital program to develop a marketing plan to position our company in international markets.
