The Chamber of Commerce of Ciudad Real yesterday hosted the Entrepreneur XXI Award of Castilla-La Mancha that Caixa and the Ministry of Industry grant annually through the public company Enisa and in this edition has gone to Sabiotec.
With the granting of this award, closes the calendar of regional phases and opens the national one, the bank and the Ministry recognize projects of entrepreneurs with less than two years of experience that work in emerging and technological sectors.
The event was attended by the mayor of Ciudad Real, Pilar Zamora, and the territorial director of the Caixa in Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura, José Ignacio Zafra, and the general director of Economy, Competitiveness and Trade of the regional government, Antonio Conde, as well as representatives of business organizations, businessmen and entrepreneurs in the province.
Sabiotec, a health company that provides solutions to wildlife problems and mainly produces an oral immunostimulant to protect pigs and wild boars from tuberculosis, competed in this final phase with four other projects: Betting Games, a mobile platform that manages the lottery results to offer a different gaming experience to the user; Ibersens Innova, a company that develops multiparameter biosensors that allow the detection of biomarkers associated with Alzheimer's disease, contributing to early diagnosis; Sustainable market, a company that helps producers to serve the final consumer directly, to promote that the producer receives a fair price and the consumer obtains quality products; and Monkey Beer, a company that brews craft beer and builds automatic machinery for this process.
